• Kindergarten - September 2010
  • Please be advised that we are now accepting registrations for the kindergarten class for the 2010-2011 school year. Children who are four years of age on or before March 1, 2010, may register in Kindergarten for the 2010-2011 school year. An information evening for parents will be held Wednesday, April 7 at 7 p.m. in the library.
• Fine Arts
  • This years performances were:
    • 1) February 11 – Les Būcherons In 1982, Gilbert Parent created Les Būcherons, a bilingual company which offers schools, festivals, communities and businesses exceptional and unique opportunities to become aware of and appreciate French-Canadian culture, history and folklore.
      • Festival Performance – 1:15 – 2:15 p.m. With a sound and far-reaching repertoire of beautiful and energetic time-honoured French-Canadian and Canadian folk songs, extensive use of traditional and unusual instruments, such as the saw, jaw harp, bones, banjo, mandolin, button accordion, and dressed in historic, French-Canadian attire, Les Būcherons are a wonderful addition to any festival.
      • Maple Sugar - morning A traditional winter activity that's sure to delight young and old alike! A taste of Maple Sugar on snow; accompanied by some entertainment and traditional music.
    • 2) March 1 and 2 - West African Drumming and Dance Workshop This interactive drumming workshop is for children and teachers. Using oral tradition techniques, this drumming workshop will focus on a foundation of rhythm patterns, ensemble planning and technique. Children will have an opportunity to express themselves using this beautiful and ancient art form.
